The Teen Health Advisory Council is a diverse group of students dedicated to identifying and addressing health issues within the student body. More than just a club, THAC is a family. Our members are passionate about making a difference and sharing that passion with their peers. We’ve led campaigns promoting positive friendships, organized recycling projects, and raised awareness about cancer. Our activities are wide-ranging, from volunteering in the community to participating in peer leadership training, reflecting our commitment to creating a healthier, more connected school environment.
Through the Teen Health Advisory Council, you will build long lasting friendships and relationships with fellow council members, the student body, and advisors. These connections are meaningful and built on trust and respect. You’ll never go a day without someone supporting you and cheering you on!
Being a part of THAC will not only strengthen your teamwork skills, but also help you grow personally. You may come to realize that you’re not yet where you want to be, or that you haven’t fully discovered your passion or voice, but through THAC, you will. This experience helps you uncover your strengths, build confidence, and become the leader you’re meant to be.
CCCHS is proud to be the second chapter of THAC. This is our first year at CCCHS, and it has already been a great success—with 13 council members, 3 dedicated advisors, and 2 student officers. We are a student led group, and we’re thriving!
This is the second year of THAC at CCRA, the original chapter where THAC was first founded. Our leadership team includes three officers: President, Vice President, and Secretary.
Jones Waggoner is currently serving as the CCCHS THAC President. He previously held the role of secretary at CCRA and played a key role in founding the CCCHS chapter. Jones has spoken at the 2025 Coordinated School Health Institute and has led THAC with dedication and passion throughout the entire year.

"THAC provides me with many opportunities to connect with the student body day after day. I love how kind and willing to help members of THAC are to staff and students.
